Its objective is to provide easy, prompt and time bound services to the citizens.<\/p><p>The Maharashtra State Commission for Right to Public Service has been constituted under the above Act to monitor, coordinate, control and improve the public services being provided by the Government. The Commission consists of a Chief Commissioner and six Commissioners. The headquarter of the Commission is at the New Administrative Building, Opposite Mantralaya, Mumbai and the Divisional Offices of the Commissioners are at the six Divisional Headquarters.<\/p><p>If any notified service is not provided to any eligible person within stipulated time or is rejected without proper grounds, the concerned person may file 1st and 2nd appeals with the higher authorities and if he is not satisfied with their decision, hemay prefer third appeal to the Commission. The erring officer is liable for a penalty up to Rs 5000\/- per case.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9cc3b09 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9cc3b09\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title historical importance in Directorate of Archives to Researcher\/citizen and issue permission to National and International Research scholar for research.<\/li><li>To provide preserved record for research.<\/li><li>To provide C.D. of scanned record.<\/li><li>To provide photo copies (Xerox) of preserved record<\/li><li>To provide attested copies of preserved record of historical importance<\/li><li>To Provide information regarding various programmes of Directorate to Researcher and Citizens<\/li><li>To provide information regarding office work procedure of Directorate to
